The Evolution of a Book

The 300 books contained in this System were created exclusively for Leveled Literacy Intervention.

These original, high-quality books were created by a team of talented authors and illustrators under the direction of Fountas & Pinnell.

All 300 texts have been carefully correlated to the Fountas & Pinnell A–Z Text Gradient.

The development and leveling of these books has been painstakingly completed and cross-checked by a team of experienced educators. Great care was taken to ensure each book conforms to the characteristics of texts at a particular level as described in The Continuum of Literacy Learning: A Guide to Teaching.
